Embalenhle DSD Offices
Project Description
Design and development of Offices in Embalenhle, in Mpumalanga. The sustainable approach entailed addressing the orientation to be north facing, in order to optimise natural light to reduce carbon footprint. The facility was further designed to take optimal opportunity of the site with regards orientation, such that working and waiting spaces are exposed to maximum sunlight in the winter months, keeping the spaces warm. High level windows are provided to provide natural light into the corridors and all the office and meeting spaces have been provided access to natural light and ventilation. The building has further been designed to be utilize solar power cells for both water heating and electrical supply.

Project Description
A large school sustainably designed school completed in 2020, entailing off grid electricity and borehole water, the facilities operational costs are a fraction of those of similar facilities in the area and functions independently of Municipal services. Opened by the Premier of the Mpumalanga Province, the facility is a case study for sustainable design.

Design and development of an Eco-friendly luxury residence di on sustainable principles in the Shandon Eco Estate in Mbombela. The house has its own borehole and treatment plant and is designed with a solar power and water system. The design was developed to maximise climatic comfort and e the stunning views of the Lowveld escarpment and a river below.
